Hi all,
Environment: small garden with few apple and pear trees, and flowers.
In soil at 5-20cm I find the insect as in the picture below, one per 1,5 meters. Description: 3 leg pairs, 12 segments body, 30-35mm length, interestingly it seems it has 2 pairs of antennas, belly is gray. Anybody have a clue about what this is and how it affects orchard?
CLOSED: insect 12 segments 4 antennas
On the other forum I got the answer: Carabidae larva.
And what's more: knowledgeable people also say I was wrong about the 4 antennas, there are 2 of them and 2 are part of mouth apparatus actually.
