Hi everyone, we are a little school on a farm in South Africa. We have many of these little dudes running around. Please help me identify these for the children.

My best guess is that it is a flattie (aka wall crab spider) in the family Selenopidae - see http://www.ispotnature.org/node/614414 and http://www.vuurvliegie.net/picpages/188/wall-crab-spider/ for examples. However, there are some huntsman spiders in the family Sparassidae that can have a similar appearance; the eye pattern would tell for certain. Both are harmless to humans.
