It looks like a species of roach, but what we call a "wood roach" around here, rather than a cockroach. They live outside and occasionally get in, but do not "infest".

Definitely a cockroach, but quality of image not sufficient for a specific identification. Another possibility is an oriental cockroach...

Really blew that one. Sure looks like the roaches we find in the garden and under log, etc. Didn't realize household pest roaches were that dark. Haven't seen one in decades. Sorry.
