How far apart can I plant Urban Apples?
Urban Apples
They're columnar, right? If I'm looking at the right info, their spread is 1.5 to 2 feet. If space is very tight and/or you're growing them in large containers (e.g., rooftop or patio garden), you can probably get away with spacing them 3-4 feet apart.
If you're planting them in a typical city-size backyard lot, I'd give them room more like a regular apple tree - it will allow you to mow and move around them easily and allow for good air circulation.
You're in Salina? You're not too far from some of my family :-)
