CLOSED: Eggs found on pagoda dogwood
These appear the be eggs of a katydid in the subfamily Phaneropterinae - see http://www.missouribotanicalgarden.org/Portals/0/Gardening/Gardening%20Help/images/Pests/Katydids417.jpg for an image. They likely were laid last autumn, and will hatch later this spring.
Thank you
