Hey Everyone,

I've been seeing these large sized spiders (for Newfoundland standards anyway) in my basement. What are they? Any chance I have a problem down there?

This is a funnel weaver in the family Agelenidae; it looks like a giant house spider, Eratigena atrica - see http://www.spiders.us/species/eratigena-atrica/
They are not at all dangerous to humans.
