I found this pair of beautiful critters on a small pot that I recently brought indoors. They are very tiny; body is I'm guessing 1mm or less in length. They have antenna which are longer than their bodies.
They are very chill; just kind of sitting there cleaning and occasionally interacting. They don't appear to fly, or are disinclined (I prodded gently with a toothpick; they just walk away). They have two pointy structures on their backs, which I thought might be wings, but they are so small it's hard to tell.
I'm hoping they are ants because usually all I see here are Argentine ants.
I also got a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLinEQ5pcg8
Camera keeps going out of focus because they are so tiny (and it's a phone), but I get some nice shots.
