I live in Northern Canada and this is in my house but I think it may have come from outside, I really have no idea where it came from but possibly from a log a friend gave me from Cochrane. Also there are quite a few in my house and they congregate on the window.

There are several families of tiny moths loosely categorized as 'microlepidoptera'; a specialist in those might be able to tell you what this is. Other than that, it does not appear to be a pest species that would be a cause for concern.
