I was looking at my calendar just now and the 21st is Father's Day. We may need to say the 28th for sure. I am in for $10.
This is a great time to dig and pot things for the swap.

2015 RU
O.K. thank you Sheila, I am glad you posted, let us hear some more from others.
I can't do the 21st but I'm going to have to be a maybe for the 28th. I'm going to be at a conference in Austin that week, and am not sure yet sure when I will be back in town.
I hope you can make it Dennis, thank you.
$10 not a problem. Seems fair. Think I can do either date.
It looks like I am officially out. My wife informed me of a family obligation that I had completely forgotten about.
O.K. Dennis sorry you can't make it.
Joan, I am glad you can.
Alright everyone, this isn't coming together very well for a Spring/Summer Round Up. With only a handful of members it seems silly to rent the Pavilion for a $100.
Josephine and I spoke today and I told her I am up for having a swap here if anyone is interested. I also discussed it with Herman. He doesn't get out of the house much and would love to see everyone again.
We could have it in the backyard, no promises on what my flower beds would look like by then. LOL! I do have a lot of room with shade at different times of the day and we have a large enough family room and dinning room where we could eat. Parking shouldn't be a problem the street is wide and neighbors friendly.
What is your feeling on that? Oh and for those who don't know, I live in SW Fort Worth just inside the loop near Granbury Rd., about 5 mins west of I-35.

Sounds like a good idea to me, a lot closer than Arlington, I live near 35W
That's a great idea! I know exactly where you are. LOL
If Smockette is coming and her mom OK with me I will be there
I think Smockette wanted some peach trees, so hopefully she will come (I have plenty of peach trees.)
Oh, good. I was thinking it might be better to not do an official RU in late June and was going to suggest we wait until fall. But I was reluctant to throw that out there b/c I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings.
Sheila - that's very generous of you to offer your place. I don't know if I'll be able to come, but hope I can work it out. I'd love to see your garden and to visit with everyone. The only stuff I have to swap is more pots. I'm about to take a lot of the bigger ones to be recycled but will wait for now. (Last RU I didn't have enough room in my car for all of the pots!)
I know I haven't been on DG a lot lately, but will check in more to see what's up.
That is great Joan, it will be good to see you, and don't forget the pots, Please.
Sounds good to me.
Anyone know a Sylvia in Waxahachie? I got a DG email she isn't a subscriber but wants to come.
Bring small lightweight tables if you want to, I have a few and then there is the lower deck also. This pic is taken at 2pm I believe, I still have shade. Excuse the yard cart. Guess I need to alert my other neighbors that crazy plant people are converging here on the 28th! I am sure my neighbor that has come with me before (Glenda) will be here. Guess it looks like it will happen!
Here is a trade thread Gypsi started. http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1396926/
Is it Sylvia the hosta lady?
No, that Sylvia lives in Dallas.
TX Flower Child, I will take every pot you can spare that no one else wants, please see my trade thread. The on pond aquaponics experiment continues, and my neighbor and daughters asked me for pots too
Do we have a firm date and time yet?
I believe it is June 28th as we had said, I will let Sheila confirm that.
I need to put it on my calendar. Thanks for clearing that up.
Yes, June 28th. As for the time and the heat, let's start at 11:00 if we can. The address will be sent by dmail to those that are signed up to come.
Drop off plants through the gate into the backyard. The food you can come through the front door and set in the kitchen. Hubby will be inside most of the day to guard the food.
We will eat in the house after unloading plants. Then we can go out back and swap away. I have a 10 x10 canopy we can use and the shop hopefully will be cleaned up a bit more in case of rain we can put the plants inside to swap.
After the swap I will dig whatever is promised and give a short tour as we do it.
Can we hold off doing the door prizes this time? I know Herman may not be up to a long day and I have to do a lot of stuff for him some days. With the heat it will be tough to make happen.
Yes Sheila, we don't need door prizes anyway. Thank you again for doing this.
I have a 10x10 canopy if you need a 2nd one, just let me know in advance so I can search the sheds
I am sorry I haven't been on lately.... I too have a canopy AND 2 6ft tables. I don't have much started in plants as the rain killed most of my starters!!! My seeds aren't doing too well.
I have a few chairs I can bring along with our garden chairs (makes 4 total).
June 28th sounds great too..THANK YOU Sheila for hosting this. Do not need door prizes..as we don't want to be in the heat for too long!!!
Count for 2 or 3 people to attend.
It all sounds wonderful, Sheila. You are so generous. I don't have any tables, chairs, or canopies. I do have an ice chest (wait, that doesn't sound right). Agree that we don't need door prizes.
Cindy, no worries about plants. I have no plants. I do have some seeds and lots of pots, but that's it. If I can, sometimes I'll stop by a Starbucks and grab some coffee grounds. But others are VERY generous with their plants and I'm sure you won't leave empty-handed. It's not a 1:1 kinda swap.
I know I've asked before but have to ask again. Isn't there someone who likes to get egg cartons? If so, was it both plastic and cardboard?
Kate likes to get egg cartons, but I'm not sure if she's coming or not.
What is Kate's alias here on DG?
Ms Grubby Fungus
Oh. Right. Ms Grubby Fungus. What a great name!
Hello Everyone,
I started a new Attendance and Food thread, please post there if you are coming and what food you will be bringing. Here is the link to the thread:
