My 5th grade students would like to get a Venus Fly Trap as a class "pet." I am hesitant to buy online because almost every site I find has very mixed reviews but I am pretty sure it will be near impossible to find one locally - we're located in snowy New England!
I know the plants need a lot of sun and warmth once I get it, and I am prepared to provide that... I just need to figure out where to get the plant to begin with!
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Need Advice for a Classroom "Pet"
I think you can safely order from Logee's, in CT. I think they would have them.
Have you even had school this month? Lol. Stay warm.
Get a Sundew too- they eat mosquitoes and gnats, and are very easy on a sunny windowsill.
