I relocated my nepetas, now looking for alternatives. Zones 5- 6a (Sunset Zone1A). Nepetas were doing fine, just taking over! Color open to suggestion, prefer attractive to butterflys, hummingbirds and pollinators. Nearby plants include daffodils, snow-in-summer, lavendar, gallardia, echinacea (white), goldsturm BES, euphorbia & monarda. Bloom time: prefer summer long. Sun to partial shade, warm dry summer days, frosts into June, cold (-20) winters, good soil, slightly acidic with endless pine needles falling in; 4300'.
alternative for relocated nepeta
