Looks like Holm Oak Quercus ilex to me - cultivated, from southern Europe.

Holm Oak has characteristic silvery twigs, but the acorns/caps don't look as good a match. I don't have tremendous familiarity with that species, however.

I took some more photos today. I cut these small branches. They were all I could reach. All the acorns are off the tree and laying around in the grass.
