Carpet Beetle? Please Helpppp

My mother is having a pest problem and its driving her crazy. I think the culprits are carpet beetles but I'm not sure. Please help if you can. Thanks in advanced.

I thought it might be a roach too, but I'm used to seeing full grown cockroaches not small ones like that so I'm not sure.
