CLOSED: Weird pupa like thing?

Found this on my exterior wall. I think it might be a pupa, or egg sack of some kind. Can anyone please tell me what this is?

Sweet, thanks for posting this! I have preying mantises at my house and never realized that's what their egg sacks looked like. I will not be touching those anymore. :)
