Please help identifying what is this insect. I have found this insect on a nordmann fir sold in Hungary as a Christmas tree. The origin of the tree is unknown, but it is from Europe. After some days in the house these insects started to drop from the tree. In about 8 days ca. 40 has been collected.
It's an aphid (aka 'plant louse'); there are several large species that specialize in feeding on sap from trees, they will not harm anything in your home.
