Life Is Not Fair!

Eau Claire, WI(Zone 4a)

My spouse was recently complaining to me how unfair life can be. I don't know where she gets such notions...

Merry Christmas and Season's Greetings to all.

Life is really unfair, there's nary a portion for me...

I need the online order address for truffle's, PLEASE

Scott County, KY(Zone 5b)

Is that a bourbon bifurcation, or a dichotomous delicacy?

Pseudo must be in a chocolate coma, or Mrs. Pseudo cracked him with a frying pan.

Here's an artist's rendering of what the situation might have been before the screen went blank up behind the Cheese Curtain...

Drool...oops.

Just in time to post that pic, I was ill over the holidays and totally missed Christmas. I sure wouldn't mind some decadent chocolate truffles to help me get over my loss.

I've developed a serious addiction to Marianne's chocolates. My spouse caught me stealing one like I was a heroin addict. Does Viburnum Valley Farm Confections offer truffle replacement therapy (a chocolate version of methadone) to deal with this serious problem? Must have more truffles...must have more truffles...must have more truffles...

Mipii, what a bummer to be sick over Christmas. Truffles will help, but be careful -- powerful stuff.

Take two truffles, and call us in the morning.

And totally off topic, what in the world is the significance of this...

Looks like more medicine for what ails me...both very good years. I'm assuming they were gifts. I mean, I'm assuming they were gifts?

Negatory...

The 2007 Vermentino from the Bolgheri region was purchased by you on a wine tasting trip to Tuscany (it's high time to drink). The Verdejo/Sauvignon Blanc from the Rueda region was purchased by your DW in 2010 on a side trip to run with the bulls in Spain. Am I warm, cold or slightly chilled?

The significance is that you are now invited to my place for New Years EVE!
BTW, Its BYOB ; )

Mipii, great sleuthing! I'll guess that the Italian wine is favored by Pope Francis, while the Spanish variety is preferred by Pope Benedict, which created a major rift within the papal authority.

Nice stories notwithstanding - and I'll always bring a bottle/bouteille/bottiglia - you are all way off, out and about.

Or - as this is the Trees, Shrubs, and Conifers forum - none of you can recognize the extant forest for the tease...

Vermentino

Verdejo

Next time I'll say less...and serve more. Happy New Year to all!

It's Greek night, and like the weather, much is chilled.

I can't believe we all miffed on that. Don't lose faith in us, John, we'll come around for you.

Looks like your're livin' the high life. You've even imported some Wisconsin weather to make it an especially nice evening. :)

All I lack is some cheddar and a Packers game...

I could have sworn that was too obvious; however, thanks for inviting us to the Greek New Years party Vermentino/Verdejo.

Back here in real life, I indulged in American finger foods (some stolen from other cultures) and swilled some suitable pairings of Two Buck Chuck, Walmart's Oakleaf and Aldi's Winking Owl...

I wish everyone a very prosperous and happy 2015!
