Large Insect in Harare, Zimbabwe

Found this fellow on the veranda, next to a box of matches for scale. Does anybody have any idea what it is?

It's a long-horned wood-boring beetle in the subfamily Prioninae, tribe Acanthophorini - maybe a Tithoes sp. See http://www.ispotnature.org/species-dictionaries/sanbi/Acanthophorini

And I thought insects were big in TX! That thing is huge...
