mom's house is infested with these

Taft, CA

I'm in the process of cleaning out and renovating my mom's house and we keep finding these guy's every were in corners that dont usually get messed with. They are black with a light brown or gray butt area and the legs ummm knuckles are greyish in color as well. They jump and have some outrageously long fangs. I'm in kern county, California.

Also forgot they generally seem to be about the size of a quarter. Though one was about the size of a fifty cent piece. Just wanted to know what they are and if they are poisonous.

First off, nearly all spiders are venomous (that is, they have venom glands), but only a very few are medically important as far as humans are concerned, and yours is not one of those - see the 'sticky' on spider bites at the top of this forum.
I cannot be absolutely certain, but your spiders might be crevice weavers in the family Filistatidae; males of these spiders have very long palps that may be mistaken for fangs - see http://www.backyardnature.net/n/12/120805sp.jpg for an example.

Could it be a type of sac spider, Trachelas

I had a spider like that in the house last fall. After taking pictures, I caught it and released it outside.

Mmm no doesn't look like either of those a friend of mine thought it might be a species og wolf spider but I'm not sure.

They are shiny skinned like widows.

I see a resemblance to the sac spiders I linked to. I did not go down to the specific species, but rather the genus because there are so many lookalikes. Did you happen to click on the imagaes for the link I gave you... there are a lot of photos to wade through, but some have that shiny appearance you brought up.

This was the fellow I had, which was id'ed by another, but I just noticed, mine has a pointy backend. I think it might be a female.
