I have to leave...

My dear friends I am going to be leaving DG for a while, I don't know how long it will be before I am able to return.
I am going to have to change ISP the one I have cost me $39.99 a month and it isn't worth it. I subcribed to Road Runner for speed but I am not getting it, so until I can find a connnection that will work, then I will be out of the mix.
I just wanted all my friends to know that I will miss them and can't wait to come back home, with much love and happy thoughts for Thanksgiving.

i don't have the speed because i have dial up but it is only $10 a month unlimited. netlink plus.net. i did a search in google and found this company they list tons of isp. that might help you change faster and not be away from home to long

In the meantime - if you're close enough to your library, you might see if you can get to the internet from there, or visit friends with internet service (I've been known to hog my mom's PC when visiting, LOL!) You can access your e-mail and DG from anyplace you can log on...

There is an internet company called UUNET that only charges $16.95 per month for access - unlimited time on-line. I just learned about it Tuesday night, but need to find out more. If you're interested, I'll ask some questions of a friend of mine.

Hey WS, does your phone company offer a cheaper means? We get ours through Cinti Bell. The standard service is only 20 bucks, but the ADSL is around 40. I am pretty happy with it. Let me know if I can help in some way.

How does Saturday (I think it's the 1st of Dec.) sound for a getogether........around 1 or 2pm......let me know, Mike said he may try to come also. Hope you're back real soon. We use Earthlink and have excellent service. In the 20 months we've had them I've only had to call once (and they do have an 800 #) and it was down worldwide but only for a few minutes. Other than that, it's always been up 24/7. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. vic

Thanks everyone and it is so good to see all of you again, it did feel like a long time. I am sorry it took so long for me to answer your posts here but most of the time I can't get online, or if I do I get bumped. I am still looking for a better ISP but will do the best I can to get here for visits until I do.
