I think I have this id'ed correctly, but would like verification. This was on the Ironweed 30 August. Hellinsia homodactylus? It sure does drive me nuts when there is no common name for insects. I would've called this a White Plume Moth, but that is a different species and found in Europe.

Unfortunately, the washed-out lighting of this image precludes specific identification. It might not even be in the genus Hellinsia, although superficially at least, that genus would seem the closest match...

It was only this summer that I tried photographing bugs, so I hope to improve over time. :) I remember having the fits with this fellow and lighting. Hopefully, I'll see one next summer... on a sunny day.
