I was driving around Medford today and saw this nice mature Quercus just waiting to be photographed. :)
The trunk is about 2.5 ft in diameter, 29 inches at the widest point and it has a spread of 40 ft in it's widest direction. I've seen bigger but this is a nice tree.

That IS a nice tree.
I found it interesting that this tree spread it's width under and along the power lines. Curious.
