Found this insect which at first glance seemed to be a huge Spider floating in the pool, I took it out the pool and straightened its legs to notice what looked like 10 legs???
Found in the Limpopo province of South Africa on a weekend away in the bush!
Really curious to know if anyone is familiar with this...
Cheers
What is this with 10 legs...or so it seems?
It's an arachnid in the order Solfugae. These are known by many common names, including sun spider, camel spider, sun scorpion, and wind scorpion. They are not venomous, but can give a painful bite if mishandled.
