I just adore mums, and they do so well in our mountain desert in our long falls....I came across this beauty, saying it is Osteospermum, a member of the Asteraceae family. When I went in search of plants or seeds I am not finding 'this' variety". Help?? Anyone have a suggestion or two? Thanks
Mums mums and more please
It looks somewhat similar to the Osteospermum Black Widow at the bottom of the following page:

Hi- O. 'Whirligig' is an Osteospermum that similar to that one, but is mostly white with just a little purple. I see it every spring for sale in garden centers here, and have grown it a few times. It is such an interesting flower! Osteospermum bloom all summer. Here they are annuals, I don't know about your climate.
If you go to Plantfiles (at top of this page click on "Guides and information", then click on "Plantfiles", then on the green search function) you can look at all sorts of Osteospermum varieties. Welcome to DG!
