This nice specimen is across the street from my father-in-law's house in Waltham, MA. What do I have here?

I think that's one of the big Chamaecyparis sp., probably Chamaecyparis pisifera. Or Chamaecyparis obtusa. Or Chamaecyparis lawsoniana.

Or defer to Resin, since I can't tell these apart...

I have trouble with this species as well. It seems like it looks different every time I find it. Is it because there are a bunch of cultivars that have different features?
