Hey guys and gals,
Cleaning a recently moved out tenants apartment (I'm a property manager for a multi-tenant building in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) and saw this little guy. It was a pretty clean apartment, with no issues on any of the inspections. So I'd be pretty surprised if it's a roach, unless it came from another unit, but in my 5 years here, I've yet to see a single roach / pest other than the odd mouse in the basement.
Definitely calling our local pest company anyway (parent company covers costs :D ), but this being a weekend, I'm curious.
As grasshopper = Whichever.
Roach = OHGOD NO.
Pictures attached. It's a tad squished (not a fan of bugs), but otherwise somewhat identifiable I'd think.
Thanks!
Grasshopper? Or cockroach? :(
This does look more like a gooshed and somewhat dis-articulated cockroach than any hopgrasser. But before calling in the Marines, I suggest that you set out some 'roach motels' to see if you really have a problem...
