I lost you guys for a while. I Dmailed Risingcreek on December 1st to ask about the Newbie seeds. I didn't get a response.
I've been sorting seed for winter sowing, I'm going to have lots of new flowers this year. I should have the heat mats up and running this weekend. I better order some more jiffy pots for when the Robin lands here.

Dee I'm glad I'm not the only one already planning my winter sowing!

I just got 200 - 2" pots of seeds in trays on the heat mat! Some of those are en masse, I'm trying to get a bunch of Aristolochia fimbriata going for a groundcover in my butterfly garden. I've got a large mat that holds four 1020 trays and has two 4' grow lights. As things germinate I remove them to the unheated greenhouse and then I can add more to the mat. I have lots of fun stuff to grow next year. Perennial xeriscape plants and lots of flowers for the butterflies and bees. Any extra plants I have in the Spring I sell at "Plant/garage sales" to fund my growing addiction.

I am counting down to the solstice for lots of winter sowing - can't wait. Dee remind me in the spring if you still want a pipevine cutting, I'm happy to share with a fellow butterfly aficionado.

I made a note so I won't forget.
I should break down and buy a Farmer's almanac, I had one in my had at the Farm supply and then I decided "I don't need this". Well, maybe I do. I've never planted by the moon cycle, but I know a lot of people believe it works. I have a few hard to grow items that I can use whatever help I can get to get them to germinate.

dee just go online to the almanac sure you can find lots of info :)

Dee - you need info on the Newbie seed stash? We have a couple of threads that are not well traveled. Let me know if I can help.

Headache pending here. wonder if I feel like pushing thru it or pulling the covers back up over my head with the dog? :D

Enjoy your afternoon.
