We live just east of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and my wife has found these very small bugs (right side of picture shows a human hair in top right corner) crawling on her. She does most of the feeding of our small animals in the barn and thought it might be from the hay. From the picture it looks like it has eight legs. Not sure if it`s a mite or a tick or what??? Please help.
Might be a rodent (rat) mite...
