I've got all types of flies in my balcony (resting on leaves) that look like houseflies but as you examine them closely, they are all different.
The second and third pictures are of the same fly taken from different angles.
Whats this bee / fly / insect?
The first one appears to be a flesh fly (family Sarcophagidae; most species are carrion feeders) and the third one is a male horse fly (family Tabanidae; most females are blood feeders, but males only feed on nectar/pollen). I cannot see the second one clearly enough to be certain, but it also may be a male tabanid...
