Hi,
I just found this bug (see images), and I am scared it is a cockroach. I am from europe (the Netherlands).
Description:
- 3 cm long (1.2 inches), including the antennas
- 2 sets of wings (one brown, one translucent)
- 6 legs, 2 antennas
- pointy head
- somewhat dead (antennas move now and then though)
If you need more information or pictures I'm ready to provide it/them.
If someone could identify the bugger I'd be very grateful!
Best regards,
MM
CLOSED: Please identify! (Very scared to have roaches...)
Just a thought; could it be a beetle? (Hopeful thinking...)
Western conifer seed bug; harmless nuisance pest...
Fantastic. Thanks a lot Flapdoodle, now I will be able to sleep without having to tear apart my bedroom.
I have no idea what it is, but I can tell you that isn't a roach.
You haven't seen roaches until you have seen our Florida roaches: 3 inches long, 1 inch wide, 1 inch off the floor. When you first see one, you debate if you should step on it, or get a gun and shoot it. You choose to throw your shoe at it and it throws it right back at you, so you get the gun. Oh, the infamy!
We have lived here 10 years, and we have seen 3; that's 3 too much, if you ask me, but that there bug ain't no roach.
Take care and good luck with all that.
Sylvain.
