What about this one? Is this Scale, also?

Thanks, Diane

P.S. What kind of Spider is this? I found him on my Tomato plant and wish I
had left him alone.

Doesn't really look like scale to me, but knowing the host plant would help. I suggest taking some samples to your county office of Nevada's Cooperative Extension Service for an opinion. As for the spider, I cannot see any features on it useful for identification; I cannot tell whether it is an adult of a very small species or an immature stage of a larger one...

Dear Flapdoodle, RE:# 9947828

I've only been growing Tomatoes & Bell Peppers. From the looks of the hairy leaf I'd say it's a Tomato leaf.
Those samples are long gone. The Nevada Extension is in the middle
of downtown Las Vegas by the Strip. As is UNLV.
I avoid that area of town, too far away anyway. I do talk to the Master
Gardens on the phone a lot, though. It definitely helps to have a local
to talk to, even if they're affiliated with University of Reno. Northern
Nevada.
Hey, check out these Boxwood Psyllids and the waxy, cottony stuff
they secrete. Looks a little like the stuff in my imagine, huh?
Thanks, Diane
If the imagine doesn't come with this edit, it's on the post # 9948478
