If these are Scale, could you tell me what kind and are they all the same
type of Scale?
Where do Scale come from? Are the adults flying insects? What do they look like?
Would you please share a link with me on the life cycle of Scale?

Can't tell for certain from these images - What sort of plant are they on? Male scale insects are winged, but females almost always are sessile (females of some giant scale insects are capable of crawling a short distance)...
