This little guy is on one of my ee leaves, I don't know if he fell from somewhere because the leaves are not chewed., I think this is the neatest cat I've seen in my yard so far.. Please help. Thank you.

A tussock caterpillar, Halysidota davisii - it reportedly feeds on oak and hackberry leaves...

P.s. Is this a bad moth? It was near the tropical milkweeds.
It does not appear to be very common -
