Can you help me identify this bug? He is approximately 1/4" long and we found him hitchhiking on our golf cart after we went through some brush. Thank you
Triangular head shaped bug
It's a specialized type of assassin bug (family Reduviidae) known as an ambush bug - they usually lay in wait on flowers, etc. for a potential meal to come withing grabbing distance - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phymatinae
