I foubd this while on a hotel near a rain forrest mountain... It has a very long tail and i couldn't count the legs but i guess it was 6 though it looked like more, i believe it floes because it was in the stairs, I went for my phone and it was on a wall like 2 mts from where I left it. It is the devil for sure but could some one tell me the name of this thing. Thanks
This appears to be planthopper (superfamily Fulgoroidea), see http://33.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_li87m9uPAF1qeeqk5o1_500.jpg for an example. The 'tail' consists of waxy filaments..
