Please help. I got my weeping Japanese Maple early July. We had a very wet month so I gave it time to dry inbetween. At first it looked like it was showing signs of rootrot so I gave it time to dry but continued to water sparingly. Well it never bounced back and continued to drop leaves.. It's not almost completely bald!!! Please help any info will do I don't want to lose it.
Japanese Maple is going bald!!
Japanese Maples are deciduous and will lose their leaves every year when the weather turns cool/cold.
The tree could have died but it also could bounce back. Don't do away with it just yet.
Did you get this maple in the pot that its in?
Ken
