I could stuff a bed pillow with the fluff coming off these branches of Eupatorium. Crrazy.

Muddy I can add Carex grayi seeds. Native. I'm afraid they'll be another self sowing grass nightmare-thug- if I don't cut these seed heads. I'm considering throwing the clumps of the grass into the giant stormwater control pond /field behind the big box stores.

Sally -- I have carex grayii -- maybe you got yours from me -- it hasn't been a thug, though it does reseed. But mine isn't in sun.

Happy, you can do an experiment...after your stilt grass dies, put down a generous amount of grass seed and starter fertilizer, organic lawn soil, or both. The desired grass should germinate before stiltgrass. If it doesn't, then you can blame the evil stiltgrass.
