Good morning everyone,
My zucchini plants have a pretty horrible case of powdery mildew. I've pulled up all the plants this morning, but I have some very large, beautiful fruit I'd hate to throw away. Are they still safe to eat as long as I scrub them good? Do I need to peel them also? Or do I need to toss them (cringe)?
Also, what about the soil? Can I turn it under to prepare a new bed, or would that just be inoculating the soil? What do you recommend for soil treatment before planting there again? I'm a bit of a newbie, so I'm learning from these mistakes. Much appreciated!
Zucchini powdery mildew still OK to eat?
