Sue wins the prize! (uh oh, no prizes!) When I first pulled up Google and looked at their logo, I thought I REALLY need to change my contact lenses. Then I realized it was meant to be "Impressionistic", and if you click on the logo, it has some info to recognize my all-time favorite artist's birthday - which is today.

And our quote today was picked to recognize him. So Happy Birthday Claude! (I feel like we're on a first-name basis, since I spend so much time looking at his work, LOL!)

that's funny. My niece just popped in for a visit. She went to Greece over the summer and had a chance to visit Monet's gardens. We were just talking about him .... and didn't even know it was his birthday.

I went to the Cleveland Museum of Art several years ago and when I got to the Monet Room, I sat and stayed. Didn't need to go any further that day. "Waterlilies" across one whole wall - incredible.
