Hi all,
This very small (about 0.75 cm diameter) and very colourful spider was hanging around our balcony for a few days while on holiday in Mexico. We had some clothes out there and when we took them in, we discovered that she had put loads of web all over a t-shirt and laid anout 8 small orange eggs underneath it.
I have googled and googled but come no closer to identifying this insect. Can anyone help?
many thanks,
Jess

Jumping spider (family Salticidae), but don't recognize the species - might be in the genus Corythalia -

Thank you so much! You are right.
Very pretty spider, I'm glad to be able to give it a name.
