Hi all,
I just returned home from several weeks away (I live in nassau county, long island, NY). When I pulled back the covers on my bed, I found tons of tiny little critters. Most were dead, though I found one alive crawling on the carpet floor slowly. Thinking they might be bed bugs, I quickly checked the seams of my mattress and found several more - dead. However, they just don't look like bed bugs! Does anyone know what these might be? I took the best pictures I possibly could.

These are small beetles that resemble cigarette/drugstore beetles - see

You might want to check dry stored food items (including spices) in your pantry for signs of insect infestation...
Thanks Flapdoodle! The only reason why I'm not sure if it's one of these beetles is because I just can't see any any of the antannae on them (however, the backs are spot on, the way they are split like that as if there are wings, though there aren't any wings).
Thoughts?
Really can't tell much more without a clear, close-up image...
