Is this an adolescent black widow

I found this in my bathroom, and it has some similarities to the adolescent black widows I've seen online, would hate to kill an innocent spider though without knowing.

Looks to me more like an immature male Steatoda triangulosa, it belongs to the same family - see http://www.eurospiders.com/steatoda_triangulosa_5923.jpg
This spider occurs on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean.
