My Four O'Clocks seem to be about 12 hours off schedule! They are always closed during the daytime and opened throughout the night. What causes this? Is there something I can do to change their internal clock? These images were taken at around 1:00 AM and 8:00 AM EST. They are beginning to close in the 8:00 AM photos!
Four O'Clocks Opening After Midnight
Four O'Clocks do that. The blooms open in the late afternoon and evening as the sun goes down. They begin to close in the morning as the sun gets more intense. That is their natural flowering habit.
