CLOSED: Please help identify insect

Beijing, China

Those unimpressive guys live en masse (but don't quite infest) my bathroom at my Beijing apartment. Really not much I could say, I attach three photos of two or three specimens. In two of the photos the antennae are straight and the tail part seems lighter in color, in the other photos the antennae shape is different and the tail does not appear to have different coloration. They are quite tiny, less than 2 mm in size (in the photo with scale, the bug is 1.3 mm from head to tail, not including antennae; the other may be slightly bigger).

They do not fly, can jump quite a long distance, and seem to prefer the dark.

Thanks!

These are springtails, primitive arthropods closely related to true insects (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Springtail). They need moisture/high humidity in order to thrive. They can be nuisance pests when they occur indoor in large numbers.

Oh, wow, not even a true insect! Thanks, I think it's definitely the right class, but any hope to identify the species?

Unless you find a specialist in this group familiar with Chinese species, chances of getting a specific i.d are pretty remote...
