The link to the new Thread is not working....

I was going to take a stab (OUCH!) at this long Latin name...
After all--i took Latin in High School. it was a required class...
Only one I ever failed.....
My only glitch is--What is "rebus"....NO ribs/?....No veins?

Rudbeckia foliis inferioribus trilobis superioribus indivisis>/b>

OK!

--Foliis----------leafed
--inferioribus--------w/small,three-sectioned leaves
--superioribus indivisis---large, undivided leaves

Seems contradictory........What do the rest of you make out of this?

If you look at this plant (or pictures), you will see the lower (inferior, earlier) leaves are trilobed or three-sectioned. Later growth as the stem extends has large undivided leaves on the upper (superior) part of the the stem.

It is factual, but makes it darn hard to ID this plant when only presented with part of the information like one leaf.
