Sorry for no pictures, I don't have a camera capable of capturing the details of this insect I found. I found it on me while sitting under a tree yesterday.
It is a bit smaller than a dime, yellowish green, four legs and a bulbous abdomen which seems to be 75% of it's body. It by all means looks like a spider's body and it spins silk when I push him off a ledge. It's very docile, like it doesn't seem to do anything all day. It doesn't even flinch when I drop my finger near it and only reacts to me prodding it etc.
The pictures of mites I have seen don't quite match as this guy has a rounder more distinct head like a spider's. I thought it might even be a very large aphid, but it has no antennae, just two termite-like teeth or some other appendages coming out of it's head. (perhaps they could be a third pair of legs?)
Please I need some ideas on what it could be. I never knew any other bugs besides caterpillars and spiders could spin web let alone four legged ones.
