Small moth ID, please
CLOSED: Moth ID
This moth appears to be in the superfamily Pyraloidea (snout moths). This group currently is in need of study and revision - http://ento.psiconf.com/abstracts/301.pdf
Thank you, Flapdoodle.
Do you know the name of this moth?
Unfortunately, no. Given the current state of knowledge on this group, you likely would need to find someone who specializes in the taxonomy of these moths to get a more specific i.d.
Thank you, Flapdoodle.
I shall 'Solve' for now until I am able to get a "more specific i.d."
