Joeswife, thanks for the update on the night blooming Cactus. The Brazilian Morning Glory is a beauty.
I also bounce between ATP and DG. Most of the ATP gardeners started here on DG.

I am not sure my wife and I were ever "Party-Animals"..........LOL If we ever were, age has ended that. I used to joke, when I saw someone was arrested for doing something stupid at a bar, that nothing good happens after midnight. Now I say nothing good happens after 10:00 PM! Age quickly changes our perception! During my working years, I tried to get to bed around 10:00. Now that I am retired and can sleep as late as I wish, I shoot for 9:00. Go figure.
Ken
Ken, "early to bed, early to rise". I like to be out there early before the sun come up to take pictures.
I remember before my hubbys retirement he was in bed by ten, I'd stay up until 1 or so, now he stays up til 1 and because I am selfish, I stay up to two or two thirty.. and then get up and 7:45 to work while he sleeps till ten.. *sigh* I got to have my " alone" time....I told him when I am retired, he has to leave the house for at least 6 hours three times a week LOL
What is that beautiful bloom up there/// is it a cerus? ( NBC) mine are like 5 ft long all 4 of them, and they just keep putting out more long "tounges" I call them., :P~
In summer, I never sleep... when it gets cold, I kinda go for a few days up and a lot of sleep time in my chair..
so my plummy is still putting out leaves and points, Ken.. I want to cut a hole out of the floor like the sump pump hole that we use to put the banana in ...
I always functioned better with eight hours. Now I get nine. I still get up between 6:00 and 6:30, regardless of when I go to bed.
What are those "things" in the two pictures?
Beautiful flower Joeswife. You are correct, it is a Cerus.
