What kind of soil prep do you need to do for naturalizing with daffodils, and other bulbs?
Thanks,

Naturalizing
Viki,
You wouldn't need any special soil for bulbs. It is only important to make sure you're not planting them in a spot where they'll be wet over their dormant period. It is also important to pay attention to the proper planting depths recommended for each type of bulb. Daffodils are deeper than crocus. When I plant bulbs, I usually throw in some bone meal to give them a little boost.
Oh, Good! I thought I would have to make huge, prepared beds.
I LOVE where you live...spent a lot of time driving around in that beautiful part of Pa. when we lived in Maryland.
Thank you
Viki
Thanks :)
