I bought this plant at a local store. They were beautiful. I transplanted them in my yard and they are dying. I don't know why. They came apart easily and made 5 different plants. two of them are dying and the third one is drooping over like it is going to die. One is perfect and another one is part good and part drooping. I don't know why. This is the second plant I bought from them. The first one did the same thing and I took it back and they gave me another one
My Priaire Sun Gloriosos are dying
Shaberto--
My guess is that you should not have divided the plant.
It would have been better to plant the whole plant as you bought it and let it establish.
Disturbing the roots by dividing may have caused your divisions to droop.
It takes time to re-grow roots once they were torn apart.
Just my 2 cents....Gita
