My friend was bitten by this bug

Can someone please identify this bug or spider for me. My friend was bitten by a couple of them and the itching and burning has intensified and has moved from her wrist to her hand and cortisone cream is not working.

These are aphids, aka 'plant lice.' Although not impossible, reports of these insects biting humans appear to be extremely uncommon - see

I see aphid like "butt spikes"( for lack of a better term!) on the pictured bugs.

Maybe the aphids were on a plant that gave the skin rash.
